What You May Need to Bring (Unexpected Essentials)

1. Water Management (No On-Site Water Hookup)

  • Extra freshwater jugs (10–20 gal extra—filling once may not suffice for 4 days & 6 people)

  • Collapsible buckets for dishwashing and camp tasks

  • Portable water filter or large drinking jugs if you’d rather not fill the onboard tank frequently

2. Waste Tactics (No Sewer Hookup)

  • Extra RV-safe toilet paper & chemicals to control odor and slow breakdown

  • Big black garbage bags for extra waste, and a plan to dump somewhere after the trip

  • Flush-less options: Encourage group use of Faire facilities if possible to protect tank levels

3. Comfort and Convenience Extras

  • Extendable RV sewer hose, even if you're only using it to minimize splashes when you dump afterward

  • Surge protector and adapter (30-amp or 50-amp, depending on campsite)

  • Bedding extras: Even though sheets are included, bring extra blankets or throw pillows for evening campfire comfort

  • Outdoor rug and weatherproof mats to keep dust, sand, or dirt out of the RV

  • Fire extinguisher, just in case (often not included but essential with cooking and firepit use)

  • Tool kit, duct tape, bungee cords, and zip ties – life-savers for quick fixes

  • Bug spray and citronella candles, especially for evenings outdoors

  • Battery backups or power banks, in case the RV’s converter is taxed by six people charging devices

4. Health & Safety

  • First-aid kit (if not already in “bathroom essentials” pack)

  • Backup sanitation supplies: gloves, disinfectant spray, wet wipes, hand sanitizer

5. Nighttime and Lighting

  • Extra lanterns or battery-powered lights—especially outside the RV for safety at night

  • Extension cords—for powering more than just the RV (lights, speaker setup, decor)
